Meeting the World's Shortest Humans (4 Feet Tall)

We travel from Rwanda into the Democratic Republic of Congo, navigating a chaotic market in Bukavu before visiting eastern lowland gorillas in the forest. After a flat tire and a difficult uphill trek, we reach a Pygmy village and are welcomed with dancing, singing, and a traditional gathering. We learn about the community’s history, displacement from the forest, struggles with land and access to healthcare, and desire to preserve their way of life.
