Mekong River Cruise | Day 2

We woke up at the lodge overlooking the Mekong, had breakfast, and continued our cruise down the river. We visited a small village where rice whiskey is made and learned about the local way of life before exploring caves filled with Buddha statues. We climbed to an upper temple, learned about its history and religious significance, and then returned to the boat, grateful for the peaceful scenery, food, and hospitality.
