We traveled by bus from Marrakech to Essaouira on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, where we explored the town and stayed at a welcoming hostel. We drank a traditional Berber tea made with various herbs and spices, visited the fish market and port, and walked along the beach. We enjoyed the friendly locals and the authentic atmosphere of the city.
