My First 24 Hours in Madagascar

We flew from Bangkok to Madagascar via Ethiopia and arrived in Antananarivo, where Ali, Dave, Nancy and Antonio picked us up and showed us around. We explored the city, sampled street food, searched for internet access and observed its colonial buildings, poverty, taxis and lively streets. In the evening, we stayed with Dave’s family outside the city, where they welcomed us, served us Vari Aminana and gave us a room for the night.
