My First Impressions of Venezuela

We travel from Ecuador to Venezuela via Panama and the Dominican Republic, arriving in Caracas for the first day of our journey. We explore the city with a local guide, learn about its security concerns, economic crisis, and gasoline shortages, and eat traditional cachapas with cheese and pork. We also visit neighborhoods, see a baseball game, and finish the day at Plaza Francia while planning to explore Venezuela’s beaches and other regions.
