We embark on a four-day trek through Socotra’s remote wilderness with camels carrying our luggage, hiking through scorching mountains and changing landscapes. We climb a steep peak without safety equipment, reach the summit, and return to camp as clouds roll in. On the final day, we visit Faiz’s traditional mountain home and learn about his simple life caring for animals without electricity or running water.
