Nobody Visits This Country...Find Out Why

We explore Kishinyov, Moldova’s capital, and examine its broken pavements, abandoned buildings, neglected public spaces, and signs of poverty. We speak with locals who compare their current lives with the Soviet era and describe low pensions, debt, and a lack of basic services. We conclude that political corruption and embezzlement have left the country neglected and may help explain why so few tourists visit.
