We begin our adventure in Bangladesh’s crowded capital, Dhaka, exploring its busy streets, markets, river port and friendly people. We visit a barber shop, learn about the country’s history and its connections to cotton, clothing and river travel, and take boats across the Buriganga River. We then explore a shipbuilding area and the nearby workers’ housing, seeing how ships are built and how local families live.
