Our 51st Country! | Touring the Vatican

We walked to Vatican City, skipped the lines with a tour, and explored its museums, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. Afterward, we ate pizza sandwiches, had gelato, and spent the evening looking for affordable pasta near the Spanish Steps. We found the dinner disappointing compared with the excellent meals we had enjoyed in Rome, then prepared to leave for the Italian countryside.
