Our favorite night of van life yet (free camping in Colorado)

We drove from Montrose toward Great Sand Dunes National Park and prepared our van for several nights of off-grid camping. We found a free campsite on BLM land and enjoyed pizza, sparkling wine, and incredible views before visiting a UFO watchtower and hearing stories about reported sightings. We also tried photographing the stars and then headed into the dunes for another unique camping experience.
