Overnight in the Loneliest Hotel on Earth (4,554 meters/15,000ft)

We traveled to the Alps, rented mountaineering equipment, and climbed through cold rain, deep snow, high altitude, and crevasse hazards toward Capanna Margherita. After spending the night at the Gnifetti Hut, we pushed through worsening exhaustion to reach the hotel at 4,554 meters. We explored the refuge, experienced an unforgettable sunrise above the clouds, and skied back down the mountain.
