We travel through South Sudan, flying over flooded and conflict-affected areas before visiting Bentiu, displaced-person camps, and communities cut off by damaged roads and water. We speak with residents about violence, flooding, poverty, food insecurity, charcoal production, and the lack of sanitation and medical care. We also meet people affected by injuries, disability, and severe child malnutrition, while witnessing moments of resilience through local commerce, church services, music, and dancing.
