Prayer Is Forbidden in This City - China's Muslim Region and the Uyghurs - Xinjiang

We travel from Ürümqi to Kashgar and explore the city’s Uyghur character, historic streets, markets, food, and teahouses. We visit Id Kah Mosque, learning about its history and the restrictions on prayer there. We also explore Kashgar’s connection to the ancient Silk Road and travel toward the Pakistani border, where we learn more about Uyghur culture and daily life.
