Safest City In Middle East? (Amman, Jordan)

We flew from Manila through Dubai to Amman and explored the city with our local friend Khalid, visiting the ancient citadel, Byzantine church, and Greek amphitheater. We learned about Amman’s long history, saw an ancient human-face statue, and enjoyed falafel and hummus. We also met many Jordanian friends at a meetup and found the city safe, welcoming, and tourist-friendly before heading to Petra.
