We try to arrange a boat trip on the Nile in Giza, but a man repeatedly attempts to scam us and the plan falls apart. The next day, we eat Egyptian food, find a much cheaper local boat, and finally cruise along the Nile. We meet friendly Egyptians, enjoy tea and a meal by the river, and reflect on how travel can bring both difficult and wonderful experiences.
