Scariest Day Of Our Lives (why we take risks)

We woke up to a thunderstorm and, after waiting for a break in the weather, decided to cross the glacier back toward Zermatt despite being soaked, freezing, and unprepared for the conditions. We carefully navigated crevasses and a difficult route before finally making it off the glacier and hiking to the train station. We then reflected on the risks we had taken and acknowledged that the decision had been more dangerous and irresponsible than we realized at the time.
