School Lunchroom In Chernobyl (Gas Masks Everywhere)

We explore an abandoned swimming pool and Pripyat School Number Three, where we find hundreds of gas masks scattered across the cafeteria floor and learn about Soviet schools’ preparation for attacks. We then visit the Pripyat River and an abandoned hospital, whose basement is heavily contaminated by clothing and equipment belonging to firefighters and plant workers. We experiment with radioactive fabric and observe how radiation levels change near it.
