She's The Queen Of Africa (Wiyaala from Ghana)

We travel to Funsi in northwestern Ghana and meet Wiyaala, a singer and songwriter who grew up in the village. We hear about her childhood, her discovery of music, and how she became famous after winning a national reality singing contest. We spend three days with her family and community, learn about local traditions such as tribal markings, and join a lively dance party before hearing her hopes for supporting young people in Funsi.
