Sikh For A Day | Amritsar, India

We visit the Golden Temple in Amritsar, learning about Sikhism while following the rules for entering, including covering our heads, removing our shoes and washing our hands and feet. We explore the temple grounds, meet visitors and worshippers, queue to enter the inner sanctum and learn about the Sikh tradition of welcoming everyone and providing free meals. We also discuss the Five Ks, Sikh history and the reasons Sikhs carry a kirpan.
