Slavic Girl Takes Me Somewhere You've Never Heard Of

We travelled by train from Tashkent to Fergana and bought tickets for a flight to the mysterious Uzbek exclave of Sokh. We flew there on a Soviet Antonov biplane, explored the village and surrounding mountains, and met local Tajik residents. We visited the border with Kyrgyzstan, saw a local spring and shops, and were welcomed into our taxi driver’s home for tea before leaving the exclave.
