Sleeping Inside Chernobyl Exclusion Zone (are we crazy?)

We spent the night in the only public hotel inside the Chernobyl exclusion zone and learned about radiation, the curfew, and life for the people who work there. We returned to Pripyat to explore its abandoned amusement park, swimming pool, school, apartment buildings, hospital, and radioactive cleanup sites. We also visited the Duga military installation and met an elderly resident who has resettled in the exclusion zone before leaving through the checkpoints.
