Solo Camping on a Frozen Lake in the Arctic

We packed a sled with camping gear and firewood, then skied across the snowy landscape to a tiny island for an overnight camping trip. We set up a tent, gathered firewood, cooked by the fire, and spent a very cold night sharing a single-person tent with our dog. In the morning, we reflected on learning outdoor skills later in life and finding our own path into adventure.
