Spending $100 in Istanbul in 24 Hours (Crazy Cheap!)

We spend 24 hours in Istanbul with a $100 budget, staying near Taksim Square and exploring the city on foot and by public transport. We eat döner kebab, baklava, Turkish coffee, kumpir and other local specialties, then visit the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Istiklal Street and the Grand Bazaar, where we shop and get a haircut. We finish by heading back to the airport after spending $99.35, and explain how we managed to enter Turkey just before a travel ban on American visitors took effect.
