Spending $200,000.00 in Venezuela

We reflect on our two-week trip through Venezuela, answering questions about the country’s dangers, political situation, poverty, and the impact the experience had on us. We discuss the $200,000 raised for soup kitchens in Petare and plans to support the project, while recalling encounters with locals, police checkpoints, and the coast. We also explain why we traveled to Venezuela and say we hope to return when the situation improves and explore more of its nature and communities.
