Spontaneous Overnight Trip to the Desert (Joshua Tree) | Yes Theory

We decided spontaneously to drive to Joshua Tree for an overnight desert camping trip to celebrate Matt’s 25th birthday. We gathered tents, sleeping bags, and lots of food before making the late-night drive, arriving around 1:33 a.m. We set up camp without inflatable mattresses and went to bed, then woke up for Matt’s birthday morning.
