Staying with a Family in Kosovo (Mountain Village)

We explored Peja and the Rugova Valley before staying with a family-run guesthouse in a remote mountain village. We helped milk the cows, watched fresh cheese and butter being made, and prepared the traditional Kosovo dish flia for a group of hikers. We shared a homemade feast with the guests and spent about a week with the family before returning to the road.
