Surprise Syrian Meal (in South Dakota!)

We drove through South Dakota on a solo road trip and stopped in Sioux Falls after receiving an invitation to visit Sanaa’s Syrian restaurant. We toured the kitchen, learned how she prepares fresh Syrian dishes, and enjoyed a meal while hearing about her life from Damascus to South Dakota. We talked about Syrian food, hospitality, healthy cooking, and what it is like to live in South Dakota.
