Surviving in the Iranian Desert? (Yazd, Iran)

We explore Yazd in the Iranian desert, learning about its ancient Zoroastrian heritage, distinctive architecture, and how people survived extreme heat using underground water channels and wind towers. We visit the Towers of Silence and a fire temple, where a fire is said to have burned for more than 1,500 years. We also walk through the markets and see the city’s blue-tiled mosque, carpets, ceramics, textiles, and sweets.
