Surviving the Loneliest Road in America

We drove the remote Dalton Highway from Fairbanks toward Prudhoe Bay, crossing rough roads, the Brooks Mountain Range, Atigun Pass, and vast Arctic tundra. Along the way, we camped in spectacular wilderness, cooked meals over a fire, and stopped at Coldfoot to refuel before continuing north. We finally reached the outskirts of Deadhorse and prepared to continue to the Arctic Ocean.
