Swimming with Whale Sharks in Oslob, Cebu Philippines

We arrived early in Oslob hoping to avoid the crowds, then took a boat out and swam with several gentle but fast-moving whale sharks. We found the experience exciting and a little frightening because the sharks were everywhere and came very close to us. We decided to skip the nearby waterfall because we were tired and uncomfortable traveling there by motorbike, and we explored the chaotic local roads and found something to eat instead.
