Syria After 4 Months... (would I go back?)

We crossed from Lebanon into Syria and spent two weeks exploring its food, markets, ancient sites, nature, and welcoming communities. We reflect on how nervous we were before entering as Jewish American travelers, but also on the remarkable hospitality and cultural richness we experienced. We also acknowledge the destruction caused by the war, while emphasizing Syria’s hidden treasures and our desire to return.
