Tajikistan: This Country Tried To Ban Me! I Went Anyway

We cross Tajikistan, meeting locals and travelling through remote mountain villages with little work, where many people leave for Russia to earn money. We search for Soviet relics, including Lenin statues, monuments, factories and a mosaic in Zarabashan. We then travel into Badakhshan and the Pamir Mountains, passing war-damaged villages and the Afghan border along the Wakhan Corridor while learning about the Pamiri people and the region's history.
