Taking the Trans-Siberian Train With Strangers

We took a 30-hour Trans-Siberian train journey from Irkutsk to Novosibirsk in the middle of winter, traveling through snow-covered Siberia in a first-class cabin. We explored the train, enjoyed spectacular sunsets and remote landscapes, met several passengers and crew members, and shared vodka and meals with them. We also showered on the train, tried to make five new friends, and finally arrived in Novosibirsk after an unforgettable adventure.
