The 8th Wonder of the World? (Nan Madol, Micronesia)

We travel across Pohnpei in Micronesia with a local friend to explore the remote Nan Madol ruins, reaching the main structure by walking through a river. We learn about the ancient capital, its ceremonies, canals, artificial islands, and massive volcanic-stone and coral structures. We marvel at how the stones were built and enjoy having the remarkable site almost entirely to ourselves.
