We set off from Pucallpa and travel for 28 hours by boat through the Amazon rainforest toward Iquitos, stopping at remote villages and meeting local people along the river. We see the region’s river transport, wildlife, fruit, markets, and the impact of the rainforest’s timber trade, including pink river dolphins before reaching the Amazon River. In Iquitos, we explore Belén Market with a local guide and see Amazonian fish, jungle meat, traditional remedies, and ayahuasca products.
