The Country That Doesn't Yet Exist (Liberland)

We explored Liberland, a self-declared micro-nation on the Danube between Serbia and Croatia, and visited its headquarters and Floating Man festival to learn about its citizenship, technology, and vision. We attempted to reach the territory by seaplane and boat, but permissions, mechanical problems, and Croatian police blockades repeatedly stopped us. We eventually reached the shoreline by speedboat and saw Liberland up close, but we could not safely step onto the land.
