The Long Journey from Istanbul to Cappadocia, Turkey

We left Istanbul and made a long journey to Cappadocia involving taxis, buses, a flight, and a shuttle, including a detour after boarding the wrong airport bus. After arriving, we explored Cappadocia’s otherworldly fairy-chimney landscape and stayed in a cave Airbnb. We also shared our experience witnessing the evening meal marking the end of the first day of Ramadan in Istanbul.
