The Meat Capital of the World Kabuli Pulao – Afghan Rice

We traveled from Islamabad to Peshawar, where we explored traditional markets and sampled local dishes including paya, Peshawari pulao, lamb karahi, meat tikka, and qahwa. We also visited a famous traditional clothing shop and learned about Peshawar’s history, culture, and shared-food traditions. We then headed toward the Afghan border to see the historic Khyber Pass before ending the day with a local fruit-and-nut drink.
