We flew from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, checked into our room, and met a friend from Scotland. We explored the quiet city, tried local food, visited a market, and rented a scooter to get around. We also learned about activities such as visiting elephants, zip-lining, and Muay Thai boxing before heading toward the hills.
