The Most Spiritual Hike! (Tiger's Nest, Bhutan)

We hike 12 kilometers through misty pine forests and muddy mountain trails toward Bhutan’s sacred Tiger’s Nest near Paro. Along the way, we pass prayer flags, waterfalls, small Buddhist temples, and monks practicing rituals before climbing the final 600 steps. We reach the monastery complex, which contains nine temples on a steep cliff, and reflect on the experience as the highlight of our time in Bhutan.
