The Original Hippie (on Lamma Island, Hong Kong)

We visit Lamma Island, a peaceful, car-free community just a short ferry ride from Hong Kong Island, and explore its creative, free-spirited atmosphere. We meet Nick, a longtime resident and former journalist who sells books, has not shaved his beard since 1984, and lives simply while caring for animals. We also try a famous tofu dessert before ending our visit.
