The Quest For Everest: Ep 3 - Everest Base Camp Trek, Nepal

We return to Nepal to complete the Everest Base Camp trek after Chris previously suffered severe altitude sickness while attempting to reach Everest from Tibet. We revisit Kathmandu, fly to Lukla, meet our group and porters, and begin trekking through the Himalayas while managing the effects of altitude and taking Diamox. We reach Namche, see our first views of Everest, complete an acclimatization hike, and play football with local children before continuing the journey.
