The Real Kazakhstan

We explored Astana, visiting the presidential palace, Baiterek Tower, the Palace of Peace, the river, and the city's striking futuristic buildings. We then flew to Aktau on the Caspian Sea, where we settled into a small apartment and began planning how to find a ferry to Azerbaijan.
