We walk through Kathmandu during a Hindu festival, exploring crowded streets, local shops, Durbar Square, earthquake damage, and the area where the living goddess Kumari appears. We get a little lost while learning about Kathmandu and Nepal, then share a home-cooked Nepalese meal with local friends and discuss the country’s culture and traditions.
