The Road To Karabakh

We drive south through Armenia toward Nagorno-Karabakh, passing border areas, military pillboxes, the village of Tigranoshan, Mount Ararat, Lake Sevan, and the town of Goris. We explore an abandoned Soviet hotel, speak with local residents about the conflict, and follow the Lachin Corridor toward Stepanakert. We are stopped at a checkpoint because we do not have the required pass, so we cannot enter the capital, but we give supplies to people and animals along the way.
