The World's Highest Security Prison: Cecot (The most evil are kept here)

We visit CECOT in El Salvador, examining its security systems, prison modules, cells, isolation rooms, surveillance, food, and the strict conditions faced by inmates. We enter a cell block, observe gang members from MS-13 and Barrio 18, and interview Marvin Ernesto Medrano Vazquez about his criminal history, gang life, family, remorse, and hopes for change. We leave the prison and consider the country’s sharp decline in homicide rates, while questioning the treatment of wrongfully imprisoned people and whether the government’s approach represents lasting justice.
