The World's Most Densely Populated City (36 Million People)

We explore Dhaka, Bangladesh, visiting a chaotic market, blacksmiths, food stalls, train tracks, slums, textile facilities, and crowded streets. We learn about local crafts, paan, fish-scale recycling, public transport, biryani, flooding, climate displacement, and the challenges of living in one of the world’s most densely populated cities. We also meet local residents and share tea and lunch with a family in Old Dhaka.
