These Pakistani Women Carpenters Are Fighting for Empowerment (at Ciqam Karimabad)

We visit CIQAM in northern Pakistan, a women-run organization that trains and employs local women, and we meet Amna, Pakistan's first female carpenter. We learn about the challenges these women face, the opposition from parts of the local community, and how 37 female carpenters have gained opportunities to become master carpenters. We also see CIQAM's eco-friendly construction work and visit its café, which has beautiful mountain views.
