This Airport Turns into a Playground (Every Day)

We visit Tuvalu, one of the world’s smallest countries, and discover that its airport runway becomes a lively playground every evening for soccer, volleyball, basketball, rugby, and a local sport called piano. We explore the island during an exceptionally high king tide, seeing seawater approach the runway and flood areas where people play and walk. We also meet friendly locals and learn how rising sea levels could eventually threaten the airport and force people to leave the island.
