This Could Have Ended Badly

We leave Montana with our dog and drive through Idaho and Washington toward Portland, stopping in the small town of Kamiah for a motel stay, a meal, and some rest. We then take a chance on a little-known mountain campsite found through an overlanding app, arriving just as a thunderstorm begins and rushing to set up the rooftop tent. After a wet night with cup noodles, we wake to explore the campsite and decide that the risky journey was worth it.
